Matt Damon Might Direct and Star in FATHER DAUGHTER TIME: A TALE OF ARMED ROBBERY AND ESKIMO KISSES
by Ramses Flores Posted: May 6th, 2011Matt Damon may make his directorial debut with the much sought after Matthew Aldrich penned script, Father Daughter Time: A Tale of Armed Robbery and Eskimo Kisses. Deadline reports that various studios including Paramount and Fox were trying to get their hands on the script, with Warner Bros coming out on top with the winning bid. There isn’t much known about the film except that the story is about “a man who goes on the lam with his daughter, his accomplice on a three-state crime spree.” Aldrich describes the film as “not high concept, it’s a smallish, very personal, dark but playful road movie about a father and daughter.” For my thoughts on the project and what else Damon is involved in, hit the jump.
Michael Fassbender in Talks for Danny Boyle’s TRANCE

He recently landed a role in Ridley Scott’s return to science fiction, Prometheus — now the actor is eyeing Danny Boyle’s next film, Trance. According to THR (who refers to the film as “Trances“), Fassbender is in talks to become the first cast member to join Boyle’s fast-tracked film.
