Red-Band Trailer for TAKE ME HOME TONIGHT

by Matt Goldberg    Posted: February 4th, 2011

A red-band trailer for Take Me Home Tonight has gone online.  If you were thinking, “I want to see this movie, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to enjoy it if they don’t say ‘fuck’ and there aren’t any naked breasts,” then worry not!  They say “fuck”, there are naked breasts, and that’s all you need for a cinematic masterpiece.
Hit the jump to check out the red-band trailer.  Take Me Home Tonight stars Topher Grace, Anna Faris, Teresa Palmer, Chris Pratt, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Dan Fogler.  It opens March 4th.

As a part of the ramp up to the unveiling of the first trailer for Joe Johnston’s The First Avenger: Captain America during the Super Bowl on Sunday, the first poster for the film has been released. Starring Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Sebastian Stan and Hayley Atwell, the film will hit theaters on July 22nd in 3D. Featuring the tagline “Avenge”, the poster is equal parts gritty and enticing. As an introduction to the character/film, I’d say they hit it spot-on. Hit the jump to check out the full poster for yourself.

New Images of SPIDER-MAN Costume and His Rotted Codpiece

by Matt Goldberg    Posted: February 4th, 2011

The more I see of the new Spider-Man costume, the less I like it.  Granted, I need to see how it performs in action, but these new set photos don’t bode well for the final picture.  The costume makes Spidey look like a cross between an extra-terrestrial and venetian blinds.  Of course it’s likely that some CG work will be done on it between now and release so I don’t want to be too harsh on the design.  However, I’m baffled as to why Spider-Man’s junk looks like it’s rotting off.
We also have a good look at the spider emblem on Spidey’s back.  Like the spider on the front of the costume, the designer clearly thought “Spiders’ legs are gigantic.  Let’s do something with that.”  Hit the jump to check out new images of the costume.  Marc Webb’s untitled Spider-Man reboot stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Rhys Ifans.  It’s due out in 3D on July 3, 2012.

Trailer for CEREMONY Starring Michael Angarano and Uma Thurman

by Matt Goldberg    Posted: February 4th, 2011

The trailer for Ceremony has gone online.  Here’s the official synopsis:
Sam Davis (Michael Angarano) convinces his former best friend to spend a weekend with him to rekindle their friendship at an elegant beachside estate owned by a famous documentary filmmaker (Lee Pace). But it soon becomes clear that Sam is secretly infatuated with the filmmaker’s fiancee, Zoe (Uma Thurman), and that his true intention is to thwart their impending nuptials. As Sam’s plan begins to unravel, he is forced to realize how complicated love and friendship can be.
The movie looks like it could be a nice, light indie comedy and Pace seems like he’s having an absolute blast.  Hit the jump to check out the trailer.  Ceremony is available On Demand on March 4th and opens in theaters on April 8th.
